So you’ve been to your doctor about the constant nagging
pain in your joints and he’s determined that you have arthritis. Now what? If you’re like me, you’ll scour the internet and the library shelves for any information about arthritis that has ever been printed. You’ll talk to friends, relatives or coworkers who have arthritis for tips or advice. This information is likely to overwhelm and maybe even discourage you. Before you look at one more photo of a badly disfigured hand, stop…and take a deep breath. Yes, arthritis is something you’ll have to live with, likely for your entire life. But just like the rest of your life, it will come only one day at a time. You should focus on just one thing at a time. Learn what works for you, and follow your gut instincts about your joint pain.
